The company said that the new attack mode available in the Taycan Turbo GT is only for track use, and utilizing this mode on public roads can be risky.

Porsche, a German automobile manufacturer, has introduced its new flagship model, the Taycan Turbo GT. The new model in the Taycan range is the most robust and fastest Taycan ever. It has a high speed of 190 mph. The electric car comes at a price tag of $231,995 (around INR 2 crore). The 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT has carbon ceramic brakes, and it rolls on lighter 21-inch forged wheels that are covered with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres.

As standard, the new robust model comes equipped with an adaptive rear spoiler, a new front spoiler with aero blades, and the company’s Active Ride suspension with specific tuning. Additionally, it gets aerodynamic elements, including a new front diffuser, an underbody air deflector, a fixed rear wing, and a unique carbon fibre weave.

The weight of the Taycan Turbo GT has also been reduced. It comes equipped with carbon fibre elements for the side skirts, B pillars, and side mirrors. The auto giant has reduced the weight of the luggage compartment as well. To reduce extra weight, Porsche has also removed the analog clock equipped in the standard Taycan models.

The base variant of the standard Porsche Taycan can reach the 0 to 100 kmph mark in just 4.5 seconds. On the other hand, the top-end Turbo S version can go from 0 to 100 kmph in about 2.3 seconds via launch control. However, the German sports car marque was not satisfied with the model’s performance, and it has now unveiled the updated Taycan Turbo GT.

From a standstill position, the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT can reach from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.1 seconds, which is way faster than the Turbo S variant. The new GT variant is also the most robust car the auto marque has ever manufactured. As standard, it comes with a promising peak power of 766 bhp, which can be surged to 1,005 bhp via the new Attack Mode function. Additionally, the car produces a maximum torque of 1,344 Nm. This electric car has a top speed of around 305 kmph.

The Attack Mode available in the Taycan Turbo GT provides extra power for 10 seconds, which is very similar to the push-to-pass function integrated in other Taycan models claimed by Porsche. The new model generates more power than its other siblings. While the push-to-pass mode churns out peak power of 94 bhp, the Attack Mode generates 161 bhp and sends power to all four wheels. However, the company has said that the new mode is only for track use, and utilizing this mode on public roads can turn out to be risky.

Inside the cabin, the electric car is adorned with Race-tex leather, whereas the Turbo GT model available in the US market features the brand’s adaptive Sports Seats Plus. The Taycan Turbo GT is faster than any other electric car, as it completed a lap of the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in 1:27.87.
