Revolt RV400 Bookings Suspended in 2 Hours After Profuse Response

Revolt Motors sold Rs 50 Crores worth of their flagship model RV400 in merely two hours

Revolt Motors reopened bookings for the all-electric RV400 motorcycle and within two hours, it had to close it due to the thunderous response. The company revealed that it sold Rs 50 Crores worth of their flagship model RV400 in today’s flash sale which went live on its official website. Revolt RV400 bookings were open in six cities namely Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. The deliveries for the RV400 will start from September 2021 while the pre-orders for the electric bike will restart soon.


Revolt said that all the interested users who missed booking their RV400 this time, can register for the upcoming bookings by clicking on the “Notify Me” button on the brand’s website. Also, after the recently announced FAME II scheme and additional subsidies by the Delhi state government, Revolt RV400 price has come down significantly and now it costs even less than Rs 1 Lakh in the national capital. The company is looking to expand the distributor and service network across 35 cities in India. The electric bike comes with three modes: Eco, Normal and Sports. The Eco mode delivers the highest range of 150 kms, while the range in Normal mode comes down to 100 kms, followed by the Sport mode which returns a range of 80 kms.


Revolt RV400 has a top speed of 85kmph, 65kmph and 45kms in Sports, Normal and Eco modes, respectively. It comes with a 72V Lithium-ion battery which transfers power to a 3kW electric motor. The charging time for 0-75 percent is 3 hours and for full charging from standstill is 4.5 hours. The bike has a maximum luggage carrying capacity of 150 kgs. The suspension duties are helmed by upside down forks at front and adjustable monoshocks at the rear. As for braking, Revolt RV400 comes with 240mm front and rear disc brakes. The ground clearance is rated at 215mm while the bike weighs 108 kgs. It gets LED headlamp, LED turn indicators and LED tail-lamp cluster as standard.
