Royal Enfield has finally rolled out its much-awaited Guerrilla 450 motorcycle in the Indian market after teasing this model for months. The brand rolled out the Himalayan 450 bike in India last year, and after receiving positive responses from buyers, the brand has unveiled the Himalayan-based roadster with an iconic design and advanced features. Royal Enfield is offering the Guerrilla 450 at an introductory price of INR 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new roadster are currently open in India, while deliveries and test rides are set to commence on August 1, 2024.
The company officially unveiled the motorcycle in Barcelona, Spain. The Guerrilla 450 is underpinned on the same platform as the Himalayan 450. It is being offered in three variants: Dash, Analogue, and Flash. The outgoing Himalayan 450 motorcycle is an adventure tourer, whereas the new 450-cc Guerrilla is a roadster perfect for city rides. As a result, it carries a slightly aggressive design with foot pegs at the back and a slightly lower handlebar.

The two-wheeler giant is offering the Guerrilla 450 Analogue trim in two color schemes: Smoke Silver and Playa Black, while the Dash variant is being offered in Playa Black and Gold Dip shades. On the contrary, the Flash variant has also received two color options: Yellow Ribbon and Brava Blue. The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 comes equipped with a circular LED headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a long seat, a circular instrument display, and more. Notably, the fuel tank is smaller, as the Guerrilla bike will mostly be used for city rides. It features two riding modes: Eco Mode and Performance Mode, providing adaptable throttle responses.
Royal Enfield is also offering a range of accessories and apparel with the all-new Guerrilla 450. These include engine guards, a new Crossroader riding jacket, and urban seats. The all-new Guerrilla 450 comes equipped with an all-digital instrument cluster, which is also integrated into the Himalayan 450. The digital instrument cluster also features support for Google Maps. The lower variants of the bike house an analog instrument cluster followed by a digital display, which is also equipped in the Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, and other models. The motorcycle has a USB port that is used to charge hazard lights and mobile devices.
Powering the new Himalayan-based Guerrilla model is the Sherpa 450 engine, which is a 452-cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit. The engine can generate power of 39.52 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch.
