Shema Electric unveiled SES Tuff and SES Hobby electric two-wheelers at the EV India Expo 2021

Shema E-Vehicle & Solar Pvt Ltd unveiled two new electric two-wheelers at EV India Expo 2021. The Make-in-India EV manufacturer from Odisha received huge acclamation from a number of visitors by displaying its stunning array of electric two-wheelers. Having said that, the two e-vehicles are SES Tuff in the high-speed category and SES Hobby in the low-speed category. 


Talking about SES Tuff in detail, it has been designed for the B2B segment. The multi-utility electric bike offers a range of 150 km and a top speed of 60 kmph. Performance-wise, the e-bike is powered by a dual 60V, 30 Ah Lithium detachable battery. Beside these, it comes with a 150 kg loading capacity.

“The EV market is new in India, and the nation has put huge targets for itself. In order to achieve the same, it is imperative that all the players actively participate towards its holistic growth. We are aggressively manufacturing EV two-wheelers keeping in mind the users’ expectations and requirements. We will continue to innovate and advance the products, while expanding outreach on the other side. By the end of this financial year, we will launch 2-3 new high speed products in the market, and have 100+ dealers with us pan India,” as commented by Yogesh Kumar Lath, Founder & COO, SHEMA Electric.


The SES Hobby, on the other hand, clocks a top speed of 25 kmph. It further covers a distance of 100 kms on a single charge. However, it takes four hours to fully charge. The e-bike is powered by a 60V, 30 Ah detachable battery. 

Besides these, the company houses a total of 6 products - 5 in low speed e-scooter category and 1 upcoming high speed under Fame II category. Moving on, Shema Electric has 75 dealers in its network across 13 states in the country. The brand further plans to establish its footprint in Rajasthan, Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana, and Gujarat in the next 6 months.
