Skoda Auto has revealed the first official design sketches of the Enyaq Coupe iV ahead of its world premiere on January 31, 2022. The all-electric coupe will be showcased to the public in the Czech capital of Prague. Based on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB), it is the coupe version of the Enyaq iV electric SUV which had its global debut in September 2020. Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV appears identical to its SUV counterpart, except for the sloping roofline. Though, the driving range will be higher than the SUV version.

Going by the design sketches, Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV flaunts a large front grille with flat and sharply cut headlights. It also boasts of a unique and sporty front apron. The 4-door coupe gets side skirts painted in the body colour and large wheels. The roofline has been restyled and from the B-pillar, it slopes gently towards the rear and merges seamlessly with the tailgate. The rear styling is dominated by Skoda lettering in block capitals below a sharp tear-off edge and the brand’s signature C-shaped rear lights. Though the interior images are not yet released by the European brand, we expect the cabin layout and features similar to the SUV version.

Mechanically, Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV will share the engine options with its SUV sibling. It will come with three battery packs of 55 kWh, 62 kWh and 92 kWh while the maximum driving range will stand at 510 kilometers on a single charge. The single-motor variants will have power output in a range of 146 bhp to 261 bhp. It is still kept under wraps whether Skoda will consider the all-electric Enyaq Coupe iV for the Indian market or not. Meanwhile, Skoda India had recently announced that it will launch six new products in 2022 in India which includes the likes of Slavia, Octavia facelift and new Superb. Just a couple of days back, it had introduced the Kodiaq facelift in the country.
