Skoda Kushaq is all set to make its world premiere on March 18, 2021.

Skoda Kushaq is all set to make its world premiere on March 18, 2021. Ahead of its official unveil, Skoda Auto India has released interior sketches of the Kushaq. The sketches give us a fair idea of what we can expect from the mid-size SUV.

As per the official sketches, the upcoming Kushaq will get a spacious interior. We could see a large 10-inch free-standing infotainment system taking the center position. The model gets a 2-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls. The cabin boasts a black and beige theme with orange accents on the dashboard. The digital instrument cluster looks like the one that we have seen in the Audi cars. Instead of rotary dials, the model features touch buttons. Furthermore, we can expect the model to provide leatherette seats. From the images, we can assume that the upcoming Kushaq might offer an automatic gearbox. Besides these, it also gets twin AC vents in the front. Talking about the AC vents positioned below the infotainment unit, they are rectangular in shape. The Skoda Kushaq will be offered in a 5-seat configuration. The images also reveal that there is a center armrest for the rear occupants as well. Other features as seen in the images include rear AC vents, glove box, and inbuilt speaker. Furthermore, Skoda claims that the India-spec model will come with numerous storage options.

Skoda Kushaq is the first of the four models from Skoda and Volkswagen brands that is a part of the India 2.0 Project campaign. The upcoming Kushaq is based on the locally developed and produced MQB-AO-IN platform. Talking about its design, it is quite close to the Vision IN concept SUV. As for the price, we can expect it to fall in the range of Rs 10 lakh - Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
