Tata Motors is likely to launch Altroz Turbo Petrol ahead of Diwali this year

Tata Altroz offers two powertrains - a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, Revotron petrol and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged Revotorq diesel. First thing to notice out here is that the Altroz Turbo Petrol could get a new colour scheme. The overall design would remain more or less the same as before. Though there are minor tweaks like a different set of alloy wheels and silver finish given to OVRM's. If you remember in one of its previous spy shots, the premium hatch featured a Turbo badge but in these recent images it has been given a miss.

Talking about the performance, the upcoming Tata Altroz Turbo Petrol features a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre engine that will deliver a maximum power output 108 bhp. The engine will reportedly deliver 8 bhp more than what was earlier being claimed. As for transmission duties one can expect the presence of a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It is still not clear whether or not a manual stick will be in the offering on this particular model.
