Tata Motors Launches Founders Edition Models

On the eve of its 75th year Anniversary in the Indian Automotive market, Tata Motors has introduced Founders Edition.

Tata Motors has launched the Founders Edition models to celebrate the brand’s 75 years in existence in the Indian automotive market. The Founders Edition is available on the brand’s domestic passenger car portfolio that comprises Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, Altroz, and the Harrier. Furthermore, these Special Edition models are exclusively for Tata Group employees. The models feature the bespoke JRD Tata Signage and a special Tata emblem with a blue background.


Talking about the design, the JRD Tata signage is grafted above the front fender creases, rear pillar, and inside the cabin on the dashboard. Interested buyers from the Tata Group of companies can book their Founders Edition models online through the official website of Tata Motors. Besides these, the Founders Edition models also come with exclusive Founders Edition postcards from Iconic Series and a photo frame. 


The homegrown manufacturer’s foundation was laid by the unparalleled visionary, JRD Tata in the country in 1945. It started its operation as a locomotives manufacturer with its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Apart from these, Tata Motors had introduced a Limited Edition model of its entry-level hatchback Tiago a few days back to mark the first Anniversary of the facelifted model. This new special edition is based on the XT variant. It is available in three colour options namely Daytona Grey, Flame Red, and Pearlescent White. Currently, the homegrown automaker is prepping to launch the All-New Tata Safari in the Indian market.
