The Toyota Innova facelift arrives in India today after its launch in the South-East Asian countries earlier this year

Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift is launching today, November 20 in the Indian market. One of the most successful Toyota products, the Innova Crysta made its debut in India 4 years back. Earlier this year, Innova Crysta received a mid-cycle update in the South-East countries. The facelift arrives in the domestic market with the design updates that were seen in the MPV launched earlier this year in international markets. There will not be any change in the powertrains with the facelifted version retaining the existing petrol and diesel engines. Toyota Innova Crysta facelift expected price will be around Rs 16.20 lakhs- Rs 24.00 Lakhs (ex-showroom, India). It will rivals the likes of upcoming Mahindra Marazzo and Kia Carnival in the domestic market. Some dealers are accepting pre-booking requests at a token amount of Rs 50,000. 

Talking about the design, 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta comes with a larger grille with chrome inserts, LED DRL’s, revamped bumper with faux skid plates. Revamped fog lamps and black plastic strip on the taillights. Overall, the upcoming MPV retains the familiar and imposing Innova silhouette. It will ride on a new set of 16-inch diamond-cut alloys.




Moving on to the interiors, the cabin boasts of features like twin-pod instrument cluster, nine-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, control-mounted steering wheel and automatic climate control. Integrated air purifier system could also make an appearance in the facelifted model. 

Toyota Innova Crysta facelift will house 2.4-litre four-cylinder diesel and 2.7-litre four-cylinder petrol under the hood. The diesel unit will deliver 150 bhp of power output while the gasoline engine churns out 166 bhp of power output. Both the engines come with a five-speed manual gearbox as standard with an option for six-speed torque converter automatic. Expected safety feature on-board are 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, parking camera, traction control among others.
