Triumph Trident 660 Price Hiked in India

Triumph Motorcycles India has increased the price of the Trident 660 by Rs 50,000 in the country. Being the brand's entry-level roadster, it was launched in April last year at a sticker price of Rs 6.95 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom). With the price hike applicable from February 1, 2022 across India, Triumph Trident 660 price is now Rs 7.45 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom). The roadster motorcycle is available in two dual-tone colors namely Silver Ice & Diablo Red and Matt Jet Black & Matt Silver Ice while two single-tone color options are also on offer in the form of Crystal White and Black Sapphire.


Triumph Trident 660 comes loaded with a plethora of modern features such as Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ride by wire and switch cube GoPro control. In addition, the British brand is offering more than 45 accessories for riders to customize the motorcycle according to their preference. It boasts of a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty and class-leading 16,000 km service interval. Though Triumph had revised the prices of its other offerings in the India portfolio in the last 6 months, it continued to retail the Trident 660 at its introductory price which was announced during the launch in April 2021. The bike can be availed at a special finance scheme of an EMI of INR 9,999/-.

Mechanically, the roadster bike is powered by a 660cc 3-cylinder petrol engine which generates maximum power of 80 bhp at 10250 rpm and peak torque of 64 Nm at 6250 rpm. It directly locks horns with the likes of Honda CB650R, Kawasaki Z650 and Yamaha MT-07 in the Indian market. Identical to every Triumph product, the bike is also imported as a CBU (Complete Built Up) unit in India. Besides the Trident 660, Triumph's roadster portfolio comprises of Street Triple R, Street Triple RS and Speed Triple 1200 RS.
