Volkswagen Polo Comfortline AT Launched at Rs 8.51 Lakhs

Volkswagen India has launched the Polo Comfortline AT at a sticker price of Rs 8.51 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. The new variants of the hatchback can be booked online through the Volkswagen India website. Also, the buyers can visit their nearest dealership to book Volkswagen Polo Comfortline AT. It will be available in five color schemes namely Flash Red, Sunset Red, Candy White, Reflex Silver & Carbon Steel. Volkswagen Polo takes on the likes of Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz in the Indian market.



Volkswagen Polo Comfortline AT gets premium features such as auto-climatronic air-conditioning and 17.7 cm Blaupunkt music system. Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, “We are extremely excited to announce the introduction of new trim-line in the Polo family, Comfortline TSI AT for our discerning customers in India. The Polo continues to be a strong contender in the segment, and through this announcement, our endeavor is to continuously engage with customers, by offering striking enhancements on our flagship model, and provide safe and meticulously German engineered products coupled with a fun-to-drive experience.”

Under the bonnet, Volkswagen Polo Comfortline AT has the same 1.0L Turbocharged Stratified Injection (TSI) which generates maximum power output of 108 bhp and peak torque of 175 Nm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission, which was till now reserved for the high-end variants namely Highline Plus and GT TSI. The Comfortline automatic is priced nearly Rs 1 Lakh lower than the Highline Plus trim. In terms of safety features, it comes with dual front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, high-speed alert and a seatbelt reminder. Meanwhile, in other news, the brand is all set to launch the Taigun SUV in the Indian market. The launch had to be delayed due to the lockdown.
