Volkswagen Reduces Ownership Cost In India

Volkswagen has introduced a number of services to reduce the ownership cost of cars in India.

Volkswagen India has announced reduction of total cost of ownership of cars in India starting from 1st January 2019. The introduction of a few benefits will make the overall cost of ownership more affordable. The regular cost of service has been reduced by 24 percent to 44 percent across all VW cars with the introduction of 3 free services up to 15,000 km or 1 year. 

The German carmaker will now be offering a total of 4 year road side assistance and a standard vehicle warranty for 4 years/1,00,000 km. Until now, the standard vehicle warranty from Volkswagen was for 2 years/1,00,000 km, which has been extended for 4 years starting from 1st January 2019.

The free roadside assistance program for VW cars in India was for 2 years and now they are offering it for 4 years. The German automaker was offering 7500 km/6 month free service in India and now it has gone up to 15,000 km / 1 year. These benefits are available for all the cars in the Volkswagen lineup, which makes it an attractive proposition.
