We are back with our weekly dose of Auto shots for you! This week we had quite a few launches. Right from BMW R NineT & R NineT Scrambler, 2021 TVS Star City Plus, BS6 Kawasaki Ninja, 2021 Bajaj Platina 100 ES to Tata Tiago XTA variant, Bajaj Platina 110 ABS, BS6 CFMoto 300NK, and 2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
BMW R NineT and R NineT Scrambler Launched
BMW Motorrad India launched the BS6 versions of R nineT and R nineT Scrambler at Rs 18.50 lakhs and Rs 16.75 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom), respectively. Design-wise, the R NineT duo are similar to their predecessor. However, they do get minor changes. Performance-wise, both bikes get a BS6-compliant 1170cc air/oil-cooled boxer twin engine mated to a 6-speed unit. Read More
2021 TVS Star City Plus Launched at Rs 68,465
TVS Motor Company launched the 2021 Star City Plus in the country at Rs 68,465 (ex-showroom). The main highlight is the addition of disc brakes. In comparison to the standard model, no changes have been made to the new TVS Star City Plus disc brake variant. Mechanically, it is powered by a 110 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that delivers 8.08 bhp power and 8.7 Nm peak torque. Read More
2021 Bajaj Platina 100 Electric Start Launched at Rs 53,920
Bajaj Auto launched the all-new Platina 100 Electric Start (ES) at Rs 53,920 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Performance-wise, the new bike is powered by 102 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC, air-cooled engine mated to a 4 Speed constant mesh gearbox. It is further sold in two colour options - Cocktail Wine Red and Ebony Black with Silver decals. Read More
BS6 CFMoto 300NK Launched at Rs 2.29 Lakh
CFMoto has launched the BS6 version of 300NK at Rs 2.29 Lakhs (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Design-wise, it retains the silhouette of its BS4 counterpart. The bike draws its power from a 292cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor which churned out 26 bhp power and 25 Nm peak torque in its BS4 guise. Read More
BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launched at Rs 3.18 Lakh
Kawasaki India launched the BS6 Ninja 300 at Rs 3.18 Lakhs (ex-showroom) in the country. It will be sold in Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Ebony colour options. Cosmetically, it has not received any changes as most of the features have been carried forward from its BS4 counterpart. Tata Tiago XTA Variant launched at Rs 5.99 Lakh
Tata Tiago XTA has been launched at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. With the introduction of this new XTA trim, Tiago now has a total of 4 AMT options.The hatchback houses a BS6 compliant Revotron 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, petrol engine under the bonnet. Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Launched at Rs 65,926
Bajaj Platina 110 ABS was launched in India at Rs 65, 926 (ex-showroom). It is the only bike in the commuter segment to come with an Anti-Lock-Braking System (ABS). Furthermore, the bike is offered in three color options - Volcanic Red, Charcoal Black, and Beach Blue. Mechanically, it gets a 115cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with Electronic Injection mated to a 5-Speed (All Down Shift) gearbox. Read More
2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched at Rs 1.28 Lakh
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V was launched with single-channel ABS and segment-first riding modes. The bike is priced at Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom), Delhi. The three riding modes are Sport, Urban, and Rain. Besides these, this new variant is offered in three colours - Gloss Black, Pearl White, and the new Matte Blue. Read More
